Let's Get Started
STEP 1: Consultation
Contact us via are contact form for a complimentary consultation that takes place via phone or video call. We will discuss your concerns and address any questions you may have to determine whether a communication evaluation would be beneficial. If we decide to move forward, an evaluation session will be scheduled at a date and time that works best for you. We ask that all prospective clients have a current and valid hearing screening prior to receiving an evaluation.
STEP 2: Evaluation
A dynamic assessment is administered by a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. An assessment report will be written that may include formal and informal assessment tools, background history, parent interviews, a language sample analysis, and observations to develop a comprehensive picture of each client's strengths and differences. Recommendations based on the analysis of the assessment results will be reviewed.
STEP 3: Treatment
If therapy is recommended, we will develop a plan of care and discuss our treatment goals with you and/or caregivers. Sessions may be conducted in-person or via telepractice depending on your individual needs and location. Data is collected every session to monitor progress as well as plan for the next session. Therapy is collaborative so caregivers are encouraged to participate!
