Lindsey and her husband, Clay, live in North Portland with their two young children. Outside her clinic hours, you might catch her pushing a stroller around Kenton Park, carrying a partially-finished-never-ending-beloved-preschool craft project, balancing a coffee, or tracking down a new restaurant in Portland (preferably a place with tacos).

Therapy Approach

FOR YOUR CHILD

Lindsey understands that children learn best when they are having fun and feel a strong connection with their communication partners. To achieve this, she takes the time to get to know each child on a personal level, discovering what they enjoy and what their strengths and difficulties are. Lindsey loves making children laugh and following their lead, which creates an atmosphere where they feel safe to try new and challenging things. She builds on their strengths, praises their successes, and celebrates their mistakes. Lindsey's play-based approach provides children with a variety of experiences that may include books, games, treasure hunts, water play, outside play, songs, sensory bins, toys, and crafts. The ultimate goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for children to grow and develop their skills while having fun.

FOR YOU

Lindsey is a strong advocate for caregiver coaching and education. She recognizes how powerful the family/caregiver relationship is and sees the caregiver as the expert on their child. Her priority is to provide guidance and support to the family by embedding strategies into everyday routines.
